Driver Profile



Having always had an interest in Motorsport, competing was always just out of reach, finding a cost effective series in the Mk1 MR2's toward the end of 2007 was ideal for me.

Having no prior race experience I purchased a race ready MR2 in January 2008, took my race license (ARDS) in February and was lining up on the grid for my first race at Silverstone in April.

Missing only one race in 2008 and suffering no DNF's, I managed to finish the year as 1st Runner up and was also awarded Best Newcomer 2008, not bad for a Novice !

The season opener at Snetterton in 2009 saw me achieve my goal of a 1st Win, the remainder of the season I was a regular top 5 finisher.

2010 I ran the MR2 for the first half of the season then switched to a Proton Satria GTi for the later part.

Having built a JDM  spec Mitsubishi Mirage Cyborg over the winter of 2010 I campaigned it on selected CSCC Tin Tops and RDRTC Nippon Challenge rounds during 2011, always finishing in the Class top 3.

During 2012 the Mitsubishi Cyborg dominated its class on every outing in the Nippon Challenge.

2013 we ran a Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, in the Nippon Challenge in the highly contested GT300 class.

2014, a short season mainly running a Mk1 MR2 with a guest drive in the Hyundai Coupe Cup


Since my first overall win in 2009 I have gone onto 24 class Wins and hold 4 lap records.

2015, I have reduced my racing activities and returned to my Clerk of Course (circuit) training. It was always my plan to give something back to the sport. In 2013 I joined the BRSCC CoC training program, but at the time I was still racing a full seasons calendar, I soon found I could not juggle the 2. With my reduced racing I have re-started my training, this time with MSVR. 







Married to Jayne, who can usually be found in the Paddock come rain or shine.

We live in Stockport, just outside Manchester

I work as the Technical Sales Manager for Ludo McGurk SVE who specialise in the manufacture and supply of high quality power supply and battery management equipment for Emergency & specialist vehicles.

Our Tow Vehicle is a  Ford E450 Super Duty Fleetwood Tioga 27ft  6.8Ltr petrol V10
